It is with deep regret that I inform you of the passing of Dr. Barbara Taylor, who was a mainstay of both the English department and the CCC chapter of Gamma Beta Phi here at Cleveland Community College for many, many years.
Barbara died on the evening of Saturday, October 22 after a struggle with several health issues, including cancer.
As per Barbara's wishes, her funeral was held on Monday, Oct. 24, at her home church, Boiling Springs Baptist Church. While she always loved flowers, her wishes were that any memorial tributes be in the form of donations to one of the following charities and organizations: Relay for Life, Cleveland County Children's Home, and Hospice.
